On July 6, 2025, Madison County Fish & Game held our annual Memorial Shoot, to remember and honor the club members and sportsmen that came before us. Without the dedication and support of those we remember, MCF&G would not be how it stands today.
We had 23 competitors face the heat to shoot some registered targets.
Despite having issues with one of our traps early, our great Trustee Todd Kistler got everything up and running very quickly with the assistance of Trustee Keith Huffer and Trustee Eli Hammond. The rest of the day went without a hiccup!
Craig Bonham took Singles Champion with the lone 100 Straight. Ed Borland took handicap champion with great shooting of 96/100, earning him half a yard. JD Lickliter won the Paul Powers Doubles with 93/100.

Our Ron Forrest Singles & Handicap champion combined his 99 in Singles and 96 in Handicap to win — and earn his punch to the back fence! Congratulations Brad Artley, and good shooting.
Our R. David Wilson High Overall trophy went to Joe Cafagno, who went 280/300 on the day.
A big thank you to everyone that lended a hand and helped our annual Memorial Shoot run smooth. Without great club members and helpers, we would not have a gun club.
