On April 1, 2025, the Madison County Fish & Game Association hosted its annual Winter Trap League trophy banquet. The league runs every Tuesday from the first Tuesday in December through the last Tuesday in March, with participants shooting 25 singles and 25 handicap targets each week.
This year's winning team included Mickey Holcomb, Todd Kistler, Josh "JD" Lickliter, Jason Cahill, and Jaydin Long, who together averaged 39.77 targets weekly.

Taking second place were Tom Swyers, Mark Spangler, Tristan Moran, Justin Jackman, and Brad Gorman, with a weekly average of 37.62 targets.

Fred Gilliam earned the title of High Gun with an impressive 44.15 target average, while Wyatt Spangler led the juniors with a 42.79 average. Jaydin Long stood out as the most improved, boosting his average by 6.9 targets.
